As far as I know & what I read, is that there are only things you can do to alleviate discomfort and this include rest, pain meds for pain & fever, fluids, and I also read "Award the child with a treat when the disease is out of the system. A child that is well behaved through German measles deserves compensation.

Jessica had German Measles last year..it looks bad but you cant give them any meds to take it away..all you can do it give meds for the temps and wait it out till the spots go away which is ussually just a few days..good luck
