Ice-Cream Cake

Ice-Cream Cake

Postby Andreaj » 11 Jan 2012 12:49

Peeps i need your help..
Its Jessica's 2nd Birthday coming up and i want to do what I saw at another party...the mom brought out an Ice-Cream cake and once they had sung happy Birthday she took an ice-cream scoop and gave all the kids (and adults) ice-cream cones for pudding!

it was awesome and so nice for summer as i find cake usually just goes to waist.

SO..im looking for an Ice-Cream cake place in JHB who do NICE cakes (not just the usual plain milky lane cakes with transfer pics on them)...HELP!
oh and please post links to websites if you can :) :) thanks :D

Why dont You make Your own?

You can buy one of the cake tins, that is in the shape that you want the cake, eg train etc, you soften and scoop the icecream in there and then let it set again. Ones hard turn it out, and decorate (piping in the detail) do this fast and in a very cold area. Then freeze again

There's the Bassetts Ice cream Factory shop in Rietfontein rd Primrose. They have the most awesome ice cream, and have been around since way before my time!!
