double standards..aarg!!!!

when we were in p.e. over the xmas holidays dh wanted pimp out the Audi and lowered its suspensions. i just didnt realise how low it was till Mbali moved creches and this new creches parking area has these curbs that just sticks out at odd angles.

so a month ago i pulled out the drive way and the curb hooked onto the bumper and ripped the bumper off its screws attached to the body. the access on the damage of R9k was R3k which we didnt have and dh just got someone to help popped it back. and it looked ok but he said we would need to replace this at some or other stage.

so this weekend we went out and he scarpes the Audi against the side of a pole at the back. he keeps misjudging the broadness of the car and he has scraped it once before on the opposite side. i didnt make a big fuss about it as it is an accident. so its left and we didnt mention it again.

yesterday again at Mbali's creche the curb hooked the bumper and pulled it out again. so he only saw it yesterday when he got home. so this morning he is pissed that it happened again. and make it seem that i'm doing this on purpose. I cant help it that the bumper is so low that it scrapes and hookes on curbs and i am trying to be so careful when reversing out of drive ways or going over speedbumps.

i told him its the same thing as him everytime misjudging the width of the back of our car and scraping it. but because he didnt do it on the same spot he doesnt see it as the same where as its twice now that the curb pulled the bumper out. making me the bad driver.

this freakin car is cursed. we have a tazz now for over 6years and not once have i ever had an accident with it but with the Audi in a span of less than a year i had 1 accident 2xbumper ripp offs and he had 2x scraping the side.

Men are much more materialistic over cars and equipment than what women are, whereas women are more sentimental over things that matter to us.

The audi really does sound bad luck gaynor!

We have the 'I drive better than you' argument ALL the time!! I might be younger than DH.. but currently I spend about 3 times more time on the roads (Jhb Central included) than what DH does.. I drive a bigger and stronger car, so I have a different way of driving than what he does.. but almost every time we get into the car it's an argument cause he says i'm a back seat driver cause i tell him how to drive (especially when he drives my car!!) , but he drives like an old man!!
Men have this idea that they just do most things better than we can!! I disagree!! haha!!
