1 box of Red Velvet cake mix, about 500g
1 cup powdered sugar
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted & cooled down
2 eggs, large, beaten
1 teaspoon of cornstarch
1. Preheat oven to 190C.
2. In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar & cornstarch with a fork or small whisk, Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, eggs, and cake mix by using a sturdy spoon.
4. When combined, roll mixture into balls about 2.5cm in diameter. Then, roll balls in powdered sugar mixture and transfer to a baking sheet – about 12 per sheet.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set. Before moving to a cooking rack, cool for 1-2 minutes on baking sheet. Store in airtight container to keep fresh.
