Baked bean & bacon casserole

 

Ingredients
6 rashers rindless back bacon
450g canned baked beans
2 tbsps minced onion
2 tbsps tomato ketchup
1 tsp prepared mustard
2 tbsps natural brown sugar

Instructions
1) Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
2) Dry-fry the bacon in a frying pan until very crisp.
3) In a deep casserole dish, combine  the beans, onion, ketchup, mustard and sugar.
4) Mix thoroughly.
5) Crumble the bacon, and sprinkle over the baked bean mixture.
6) Heat in the oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly.
7) Serve hot.
