Boiled Butternut (for baby)

First foods for baby (4 to 6 months)

1) Peel one butternut and remove all pips. Boil butternut in a pot water until soft (do not add salt).
2) Test softness using a fork.
3) Mash the butternut well, and then strain to obtain the right consistency (the butternut should be almost liquid).
4) Do not add salt or sugar to the butternut.
5) Allow to cool before feeding baby. Butternut can be frozen, or stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days. (Always feed baby from a separate bowl.)
