Cheese Beef Casserole



500g minced beef
½ cup finely chopped onion
225g tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
½ cup elbow macaroni pasta, cooked and drained
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tomato, sliced
3 tbsp steak sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1) Cook minced meat in a skillet until crumbly. Drain off any fat.
2) Mix in steak sauce, onion, tomato sauce, ¾ cup of cheese, salt and pepper, macaroni and half of the bacon.
3) Spoon into a suitable size baking dish. Top with tomato slices.
4) Bake at 180 °C for 20 Minutes. Sprinkle With remaining cheese and bacon. Bake 10 minutes more.
5) Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
