Chicken Fillet With Broccoli & Gem Squash (for baby)

 

First foods for baby (10 to 12 months)

Ingredients
Pinch of herbs
½ cup of broccoli
½ gem squash
½ tsp unsalted butter

Instructions

1) Rub the herbs into the chicken and steam chicken fillet until soft and tender.
2) Seed the squash.
3) Boil the broccoli and squash in a little water until soft (use a fork) to test. Once cooked, spoon the squash out and leave to cool.
4) Once the fillet has been steamed until tender, the chicken can be cut up finely (or minced).
5) Mash the broccoli and squash together with the unsalted butter and mix with the minced chicken.

This baby meal can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for three days, or frozen for 6 weeks. The vegetables can also be substituted with butternut or green beans.
