Creamy Pork Chops


6 pork loin chops (1kg), cut 1cm thick
½ cup heavy cream
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp fresh basil, sliced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper

1) In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
2) Add salt, garlic, and pepper, and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
3) Add pork chops and sauté 8 to 10 minutes per side, until brown on both sides and cooked through.
4) Remove the chops to a serving plate.
5) Whisk heavy cream and basil into pan drippings for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat, until sauce thickens slightly.
6) Pour sauce over cooked chops and serve immediately.
