First foods for baby (6 to 9 months)
1 – 2 fish fingers
1) Bake fish fingers until cooked. Remove the crumbed coating and flake the fish.
2) Boil pumpkin in water until soft. Add fish flakes to the pumpkin and blend together in a food processor or food mill. For babies older than 9 months, the pumpkin and flaked fish can be mashed together, and does not necessarily need to be blended.
3) A small pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg can be added to the pumpkin, if desired, but do not use salt.
4) Frozen pumpkin can also be used (frozen vegetables are quick-frozen, which means the nutritional value of the vegetables is not compromised)
