First foods for baby (6 to 9 months)
Liver (chicken livers are the best choice)
Use three small cubes of liver. Cover the liver with water into a covered saucepan and steam the liver pieces, for about 8 to 10 minutes. The livers can also be poached or steamed.
In a food processor or food mill, purÃ©e the liver. A little of the water used to cook the livers can be added if needed.
Steam or boil beans and potato until soft (test with a fork). Using a food mill or processor purÃ©e the beans and potato together. Add to the already purÃ©ed liver. Once cooled the mixture can be frozen in an ice-cube tray (using one or two cubes per meal), or it can be stored in an airtight container for three days.
