Mangolicious homemade puree (for baby)


Cooking your own baby’s food from fresh, organic products is not only wholesome, but  eco-friendly and economical too.

Today we explore the goodness of mangoes. Its cancer-fighting agent, carotenoids, and high level of Vitamin A, B and C, protein, potassium and iron help keep that cold at bay and aids in overall health.

Creamy Mango Puree is suitable for babies from eight to ten months.

You’ll need:
1 ripe, organic mango
Pear/apple juice OR plain yogurt OR water

What to do:
1. Peel and deseed ripe mango and mash into a smooth paste.
2. Mix juice or yoghurt or water with paste until the puree has the exact texture your baby prefers.

*Note: Although Anaphylaxis due to mango allergy is rare, consult your doctor if your family has a history of nut allergies or major reactions to poison ivy or oak.
