225g macaroni, cooked
200g mature cheddar cheese, shredded
300g canned cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup milk
½ cup soft, coarse bread crumbs, lightly toasted
1 tbsp butter, melted
1) Preheat oven to 190 °C.
2) Stir noodles, cheese, soup, mayonnaise and milk together in a lightly greased broiler-proof 2l baking dish.
3) Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly.
4) Set oven to Broil.
5) Stir together bread crumbs and butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
6) Broil 10-12cm from heat for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until lightly browned.
