Steamed Carrots (for baby)

Today we start with the first of our nutritious homemade baby recipes that will fill up baby’s tummies and which are easy to digest!


1) Wash, peel and steam five medium sized carrots until they are well cooked. Using a fork (blender or food mill) blend the steamed carrots until they have a consistency similar to liquid. To ensure perfect consistency, strain the carrots (if necessary).

2) Allow prepared carrots to cool and pour the strained 2) carrots into an ice-tray.

3) Feed baby using one frozen block of carrots (defrost thoroughly).

4) Strained carrots can be stored in the fridge in a sealed container for up to three days. Always feed baby from a separate bowl.
